Falsehoods on the radio!

Today Chris Hassel was on the Murph and Andy radio show on KXNO and had a few choice things to say about me and this blog.  I didn't get to hear it all, am getting a lot second hand, but I heard enough!  At one point he said I compared calling babies ugly to the situation at Penn State.  THIS IS FLAT OUT FALSE!

After having received feedback from anonymous commentors on http://keithmurphyslaw.blogspot.com/ , who were the ones who did the comparison, I said, "That just because making fun of babies is not on the level of the indiscretions at Penn State, does not make it any less wrong".   This IS NOT comparing the two, it is merely stating that just because there is a bigger crime out there, doesn't make the lesser one invalid.  Rolling a stop sign is illegal and so is driving drunk.  Yes one is worse than the other, but BOTH are still WRONG!
Make sense now?  I truly hope so!

Now for another one of Bobbi's Angels!

This little sad guy was obviously listening to Murph and Andy today.  I know how he feels.  Buck up big guy, tomorrow is a new day!

  1. You do realize there is no law against reposting a baby photo from another site and saying its ugly right? That pretty much means you can't compare it to any kind of crime.

  2. I'm talking about moral indiscretions! I guess one would have to have morals to understand.

  3. No you are talking about crimes. If I roll a stop sign in front of a cop I'm ticketed. If I drive drunk and am caught I go to jail. if child abuse or rape occurs it can be reported to police. If you go to the cops with this nothing happens. Everyone's moral code is subject to their own beliefs, and you can't expect WHO to fire a guy b/c he runs afoul of 1 persons morals.

  4. So morals do not matter in our society? I beg to differ. Many people have been fired due to their moral actions.
You people really need to learn the difference between analogies and comparisons.

  5. Again-YOUR morals may differ from somebody elses since they are mostly based on an individuals own beliefs. Just because YOU believe something is wrong doesn't mean the majority of the public does. If they did, chances are it actually would be illegal/a crime.

  6. Some people think that gay marriage is right. Does that mean everyone should think it's morally correct? I do not think so.

  7. You just proved my point. Gay marriage isn't legal recognized in most states, yet is in some. Morals are based on individual beliefs. Unless you can get majority opinion from more people, why should a TV station fire an employee just because you and you alone think what he did was wrong?

  8. So I should not be allowed to voice my displeasure because you think I am in the minority? How dare you?

  9. You've voiced your opinion. Now you're trying to shove it down other people's throats by constantly advertising your blog on the WHO Sports blog and by sending out tweets to people.

  10. I believe this is a free country, yes? If you don't like, just ignore.

  11. Again, you proved my point. If it's a free country than a guy is free to repost a baby pic and call it ugly. And there is such a thing as junk mail. You've been asked to stop posting your ads on Murphys Law. They can't block you because blogger doesnt have a junk filter. Why not respect their wishes and stop advertising your own blog?

  12. Other than anonymous commentors, no one has asked me to stop posting at Murphy's Law.
Good try anonymous, but I guess this time you fail.

  13. Uhhhh....wrong....the guy named Mike asked you to put a sock in it on Murphys Law.

  14. Ok, I, not anonymous, and would very much like it if you stopped posting at Murphy's Law because your opinion has been stated, no one agrees with or wants to hear your opinion and you are ruining the culture of that blog by being a pest. If you want to post on this "blog" by all means do, but no one wants to hear your version of reality on Murphy's Law, or have the link to this abomination spammed on there or on their twitter feed.

  15. How do you know everyone doesn't want to hear my opinions? I don't express my opinion for the masses, as they would rather watch or listen to Jerry Springer, Jersey Shore, and the Kardashians. Those people are beyond reproach. I do this for the defenseless babies and the people that care about them. Obviously, you are one that does not care for the welfare of babies, so your words mean nothing to me. Please feel free not to come to this blog and ever comment again!
