How babies can fight bullying!

This article, by Pete Grey who is a peer of mine, explains in quite detail how babies can combat bullying!  Here is the first paragraph, which is quite moving, followed by a link to the full article.

I think we all should take a few moments out of our day and read these profound words, and reflect on how we can change our bullying ways in our culture.
I suggest that Chris Hassel read this a few times over, then admit what an utterly distasteful and ugly thing he did by posting pictures of innocent babies and making fun of them!  I believe his salvation depends highly on his asking our forgiveness of his actions.

Baby bullying is NOT A JOKE!!!

I understand the need to laugh.  I love to have a good laugh myself.  I do not understand the cruel need for some people to have a laugh at the expense of a baby!  Some people have accused me of being fake, in fact some have even had the gall to think I am actually Chris Hassel.  I have been asked to reveal my last name and show pictures of myself.  Due to safety issues for my family, and privacy concerns, I cannot accommodate these requests.  On top of that, this is not about me, this is all about putting an end to baby bullying/abuse.  It should not matter in any way, shape, or form who I am, this is about the victims and the monsters who commit these crimes.  We, as a society,  must put to end this incomprehensible abuse before one more innocent baby becomes a victim!

Today is Tuesday. so it is supposed to be a "No Hassel Tuesday", but I must put the mission ahead of clever slogans!

Now for a beautiful winter Angel!   This long jumper is well on his way to the 2030 Olympics!

I believe what Chris Hassel did was borderline child abuse.

On November 30th, December 1st, and December 2nd Chris Hassel posted pictures of beautiful babies on http://keithmurphyslaw.blogspot.com then proceeded to make fun of them and call them ugly.  After weeks of decrying this matter as disgusting and bullying, it has been pointed out to me by family members, that this could be a borderline case of child abuse.
The long term effect of what Chris Hassel has done will not be known for years, but actions such as his can have disastrous results when it comes to the imprint a baby develops in it's first few, and most important years.  Studies have shown that negative energy around a baby was rampant in a high percentage of career criminals and a staggering rate in violent and deviate criminals.  Not all abuse stems from immediate family or exrended friends and relatives, it can come from complete strangers as well.
Many of you may see what Chris Hassel did as funny or harmless, but when one of those precious babies goes to prison after robbing a liquor store with a sawed-off shotgun for drug money, what will you believe then?
People like Chris Hassel should be held accountable for his actions, and should absolutely not be allowed on our local airwaves.  Stand up to baby bullying/abuse!  Join me and let everyone know of his abhorrent behavior before one more baby gets hurt!

The Original Angel!

Today is the day we set aside to be with family and friends and celebrate the Original Bobbi's Angel, Baby Jesus!  On this day I would like to implore that we all put our differences aside and come together as one and reflect upon the miracle that was Baby Jesus.  What do you say Christians, Muslims, Jews, Asians, and everyone?  Can we not have at least one day of peace and celebrate the Angel who is responsible for us all?

God Loves Every Baby!!!

According to my daughter's friend, Keith Murphy and Chris Hassel were on the radio today talking about babies, and Keith said, "God don't like ugly"!  What is wrong with these people?  They are sports reporters, yet they cannot seem to talk about sports, preferring to make fun of defenseless babies!

God has NEVER made an ugly baby, and he NEVER will!  Unfortunately, many of these beautiful babies will grow up to be ugly adults in our ever growing disgusting culture.

Oh and Keith, you are right.  God don't like ugly, ugly adults that is.

Why do grown men bully babies?

In the past few weeks, I have noticed that the majority of people that are continuing to make fun of babies and slinging mud at me, are grown men.  Most notably, 3 local media members, Chris Hassel, Zach Borg, and Andy Fales.

Bullying tends to come from the inner insecurities in our lives and is a way to cope with them.  Bullies may feel inadequate due to looks, lack of financial security, unstable emotional relationships, and the like.  Men tend to internalize these issues and it comes out in the form of anger and directed at people that cannot defend themselves.  It would then make sense that babies would be a logical target for these cretins to lash out at.

I say it's time for us to band together and stand up and say that this IS NOT acceptable!  There are other ways to get rid of your inner demons.  Get therapy, take anti anxiety drugs, or buy a punching bag, but LEAVE BABIES ALONE!!!
So now we know what causes this atrocious behavior, now lets do something about it before one more baby falls victim!

Oh for the love of babies!

In the past few days I have been threatened with legal actions based on nothing more than my expression, which is guaranteed by the first amendment.  My opinion that Chris Hassel should be fired has been met with numerous  attacks on me that have called me, crazy, bat shit crazy, clinically insane, and the like.  While I do respect the opinions of others, I will say that I believe many of these opinions come from Chris Hassel himself and probably friends of his.  Not a one has decried his distaste and loathing for defenseless babies!
My husband and his brother (a lawyer) have assured me that I have no legal ramifications.  I have said this before, and I will continue to shout this from the mountain top, making fun of innocent children is despicable and I will not watch it and silently stand by!

Sell your legal issues down the road Mr. Hassel and Mr. Borg, I've got innocence on my side!

Is there an epidemic at Channel 13?

I have received numerous e-mails from Zach Borg, who works for WHO 13, asking for me to reveal my identity.  I did not know who Zach was until recently, but I found a picture of him on the internet.

I refused to give him my personal information, as I have to others.  It is not in my family's best interests or safety to allow fuel to be thrown on the fire of rubbish that is being thrown at me.  Mr. Borg has insisted that my information would be held confidential, and that the e-mails would be deleted, and they needed my identity to make me a credible source.  The only problem with that Mr. Borg, is that it is NOT my behavior that is in question, it is Chris Hassel's.  The merit of what Chris Hassel has done has been recorded and is visible on the internet.  It should make absolutely no difference where the complaints come from, as they are content related complaints and should be judged as such.
On top of that, there is NO WAY I would entrust my personal information to someone who has openly mocked me and also made fun of babies in blogs and on Twitter.  Mr. Borg, you are no better a person than Chris Hassel is, and you should be subjected to disciplinary measures as well.

Worth the effort!

In the past week, I have had some friends and family members approach me with some concerns.  They worry for my safety and mental well being.  I have assured them that my safety is not in question and that I am a big girl and can handle the verbal barbs that are being thrown at me.  One thing that stood out for me though, was when my daughter asked me if what I was doing was worth the effort.  The more I pondered this question, the more it motivated me.  If you look back in history, many people have changed the world by taking on issues that the masses would not or could not.  Jesus preached on the mountain top, was jeered, castigated, betrayed, and crucified.  Nelson Mandela went to prison for being an activist, and that didn't stop him from ending apartheid.  Rosa Parks just wanted to sit in the back of the bus, and her actions spearheaded the civil rights movement.
As you can see, the right actions and efforts are not always the most popular or understood.  So to answer the question of, "is it worth the effort"?  Absolutely it is!

What happened to Chris Hassel?

I have read on Twitter that today is Chris Hassel's birthday.  This has brought to me to think about what might have happened to this man since the day of his birth.  As I have stated over and over, ALL babies are beautiful, but many grow up to be ugly adults.  I do not have any pictures of Chris Hassel as a baby, but I believe I'm safe in saying that he was probably a real cutie.
So then I ask again, what happened to him?  Was he the victim of physical or verbal abuse?  Did he have siblings that received more attention than he did?  Was he mocked by insensitive adults who thought that making fun of a child was funny?  I doubt we will ever have definitive answers to these questions, unless Chris is willing to share, which I highly doubt.  You see, the attitudes, beliefs, and morals we develop over time are learned behaviors.  Babies are not born with hate, prejudice, or moral aptitudes, they are formed from their surroundings such as family, peers, and television interactions.
I think that if we delve into the childhood of Chris Hassel, we can understand better of how he grew up to be such an ugly adult.  Please take some advice Chris, do some soul searching into your youth, and seek help to deal with these issues.  We all make mistakes, and we all deserve second chances if we work for it!

Sometimes it just takes a little push.

Falsehoods on the radio!

Today Chris Hassel was on the Murph and Andy radio show on KXNO and had a few choice things to say about me and this blog.  I didn't get to hear it all, am getting a lot second hand, but I heard enough!  At one point he said I compared calling babies ugly to the situation at Penn State.  THIS IS FLAT OUT FALSE!

After having received feedback from anonymous commentors on http://keithmurphyslaw.blogspot.com/ , who were the ones who did the comparison, I said, "That just because making fun of babies is not on the level of the indiscretions at Penn State, does not make it any less wrong".   This IS NOT comparing the two, it is merely stating that just because there is a bigger crime out there, doesn't make the lesser one invalid.  Rolling a stop sign is illegal and so is driving drunk.  Yes one is worse than the other, but BOTH are still WRONG!
Make sense now?  I truly hope so!

WHO TV is standing behind Chris Hassel!!!

I cannot fathom how the management team at WHO can stand behind Chris Hassel after his juvenile antics on http://keithmurphyslaw.blogspot.com/ .  This will not stop me from monitoring Chris Hassel's behavior on TV, radio, and on the internet.  I do not believe that the type of behavior he displays should be tolerated, and I certainly will continue to voice my displeasure of it.

Now on to some little angels!

How come Chris Hassel hasn't responded?

I'll tell you why, cause he knows he's wrong and he'll never admit it.  I would also like to point out, that since I started this crusade, he has not posted any more pictures of babies, called them ugly, nor made fun of them.  My understanding is that the management at channel 13 informed Keith Murphy, Andy Fales, and Chris Hassel to not post blogs in poor taste like that anymore.  I'd like to thank WHO-13 for putting an end to this in-decorum, but I am miffed that Hassel was not terminated, or at least suspended.

Mr Hassel, never underestimate the viewers demand for good taste and etiquette, NEVER!!!  Wake up and smell the coffee Mr. Hassel, and just admit you made a mistake.  We may demand a lot here in Iowa, but we are also a forgiving lot as well.



Now on to sweet little angels!

This little rascal was just a little too eager to help mommy with the laundry.  I hope the dryer was set to gentle!

What if your child was being made fun of online?

Since I have started this blog and twitter @BobbisAngels , I have been brutally attacked because I choose to fight for and defend innocent babies.  I have been called clinically insane by Chris Hassel and others, been told to get a sense of humor, asked if I was real, asked if I was Chris Hassel, told I would be reported, and told to shut up.
I ask you, how would you react if YOUR child had their picture posted on the internet and being made fun of?  Would you laugh?  Would you just sit quietly?  Of course you wouldn't, you would be enraged.  No, none of my children have been victimized in this way, but it doesn't mean it's none of my business.  Allowing disgusting behavior like that to continue unchallenged is, in my opinion, immoral and unconscionable.
I realize that the likelihood of Chris Hassel being fired is small, I am here to make sure he doesn't forget his juvenile and utterly distasteful actions.  I hope you join me in being part of the solution here, and not the problem.
